RazorGuard was developed to protect the blades metal edge from the damaging effects of oxidation and corrosion. The result is much smoother, closer shaves from blades that last weeks longer. Our average customer blade life is 43 shaves, we do have customer reviews who use just 3 blades a year.  The former Gillette CEO John Darman has been quoted as saying the average Gillette blade life is 6 shaves.
